Veteran Mat Best (Not A War Story) wakes up to an interrogation by his lawyer (William Shatner, Star Trek) after a night of debauchery. While he and his four military buddies are in prison, they learn that a Zombie apocalypse arrived while they were passed out. Armed only with billy clubs and their military experience, they stage an all-out war on the Zombies and, by accident, may have found the cure along the way.

Colonel Holloway (Keith David, The Nice Guys), their boss, informs them that the only place they can synthesize the cure is Range 15, an isolated facility some 300 miles away, through a Zombie-infested desert. To lead the mission, Colonel Holloway sends narcissist super-soldier Gene Vandenham (Ross Patterson, Not a War Story), and to help as the Zombies (Danny Trejo, Machete) get faster every hour, he sends Pilot Grigsby (Sean Astin, The Lord of the Rings).

The group, equipped with only billy clubs and their military expertise, must navigate through the treacherous Zombie-filled desert to reach Range 15 and synthesize the cure. Along the way, they engage in an all-out war against the relentless Zombies, which escalates as the creatures become faster and more dangerous with each passing hour.

Despite the odds, the team's military training and resourcefulness prove to be invaluable assets in their fight for survival. They work together, using their wits and combat skills, to overcome the challenges presented by the Zombie horde.
